Why should I read your site?
Honestly? I don’t know. I would like it if people read my site, but, to be totally honest, this is a selfish exercise in self-promotion. I started my career as a writer, graduated with a writing degree and this is my way of continuing to write about stuff I want to write about. I would hope (but certainly not expect) that people enjoy what I have to say about some stuff, but I realize that I am not really that funny and therefore do not expect anyone outside my family to read this.
Why should you care? I can’t really tell you that…it’s a secret. Perhaps if I am mysterious about it, you’ll be intrigued and you’ll read more.
How do you manage this site?
I use WordPress to write the posts and manage the site. I use a little bit of Adobe Photoshop.
What about hosting?
I host this site at GoDaddy and upload my stuff via FTP using Cyberduck. I also sprinkle in Dreamweaver, but only all the time. I’ve thought about switching to Dreamhost, but switching hosts is a real pain, as I have learned before.
What about privacy?
I do not sell, rent, distribute or in any way reveal the addresses, names or any information about commenters or anyone who contacts me through the use of its mail form. All communication to is kept private and undisclosed. I loathe spam. Generic information from server logs may be used to track the number of hits to the site, and to find out what types of browser software are used by visitors. This information will be used only in aggregate form, and used solely for improving website design.
